"The Showcase Supercharge"

  

 

It is very important that before doing this protocol you are following all of the principles set forth in The Velocity Supercharge 1.0.  This protocol is designed to heighten energy levels and velocity very quickly.  This is a 7 day protocol that you can do leading up to a showcase or max performance day.  It should not be done every week, but instead used when you need a max.  I would recommend using it twice a month at most.  If you are doing strength training alongside the SUPERCHARGE, it is very important to cut out all strength work on days 5, 6, and 7.  Anything that fatigues you needs to be eliminated 3 days before max.  You should implement your throwing program the same as you always do.

 

 

DAY 1 

 

-Minimum 6 organic eggs

-Minimum half gallon of organic whole milk

-8 oz organic tart cherry juice at breakfast

-10g Thorne creatine in the morning (optional)

-Perform 15 x 30 yd dash sprints 

 

-In the evening, take a contrast shower (60 seconds comfortably hot water, followed by as cold as possible for 10 seconds.  Cycle thru 3 times and end on cold.  Very important to cover entire body including the head and face with the cold water.)

 

 

 

DAY 2

 

 -Perform 1 maximal vertical jump, followed by standing and taking one deep breath.  Perform 2 maximal jumps, followed by standing and taking two deep breaths.  Then 3 of each, 4 of each, 5 of each, all the way until you do 10 jumps and 10 breaths.  Immediately after spend 60 minutes grounded on grass.  You can walk around, stand, or sit.  Just relax and breathe.

-30 minute easy walk in nature.  Immediately after spend 30 minutes grounded on grass.  You can walk around, stand, or sit.  Just relax and breathe, feel the energy and excitement of maxing the next day.

 

 

 

DAY 7

 

MAX DAY


-Consume 100-200 mg caffeine 15 minutes before testing.  (optional)
